                  true its like theres tons of "male" robots but they're all like very nonhuman and male in the sense of male being default
                  meanwhile of course "female" robots typically are very explicitly humanlike and like thats what all humanlike robots are and egh
                  ive had this whole rant many times before but it all comes back to phantasy star online 2 for me it's the prime demonstrator of this
                  all the girl robots look like anime girls and all the boy robots look like mini mecha and god its such a downgrade from pso1 where all the robots looked fairly nonhuman in a way that i really vibe with
