      Ok I kinda misremembered, but some european language groups had a kw->p sound shift. So we could assume that Kwaytre in some unknown language got borrowed into old greek and turned into petra->petrus. But at the same time it got borrowed into some Nordic language, and simplified into Kaytr->Kait. Thus St. Peter and St. Kait are the same person. QED
