Gay pride is about being gay.
And it's especially a real pity because mastodon.social is a big instance and pretty central to the Mastodon corner of the Fediverse.
I really do not want to block your whole instance. But it's a real nuisance trying to Limit those accounts.
If people want to publish heterosexual content of whatever kind, they really should join or create focused instances for that, such as poast

Uncensored heterosexuality on Free Open Source Software networks is precisely what "Big Gay" points at when they say that only queer social tools are child-safe. We *know* that is in fact the case.
It's already a certain workload moderating a Mastodon instance.
If we don't sandbox heterosexuality, then why don't we allow the US flag and other offensive content?
I actually did a some six weeks of training as a moderator for disqordia dot space, so I do have some personal knowledge of the range of content you could be exposed to if nobody moderates anything.

i like the new (work-in-progress!!) mastodon profile style
spacing still feels a bit weird but i think it's a step in the right direction, especially since it now includes a button to exclude boosts
a bit confused by that "All activity" dropdown over there though, feels redundant when there also are tabs which also filter the view in a similar way
