      I'm trying to help out a friend living in Maryland (USA) get to a better living situation.

      Not being from there, however, I have no idea of what resources they could access, nor know which are safe to access for them, them being transgender: for example, how to access baseline medical care, safe housing, mental health support, job placement, and poverty aids in general…

      Do you know about anything that they could try, even if it's perhaps obvious to you?

        Is there a mac user here who has experience with installing macOS 11 Big Sur on a late-2013 iMac? Apparently it can be done but the last recommended version was Catalina which makes if basically useless for lots of applications. It would be lovely to have a second opinion before I have to reset the whole machine again.
