      anybody have a recommendation for a relatively affordable light, small laptop with a long battery life that i could use for like school, writing at the library, bring with me to travel, my main needs are to write and update my website, i may need to do some light image editing/converting for images for my website too.

      Chromebook is fine as a recommendation tho it seems like it's hard to get anything more than 4gb ram without paying more or getting bigger/worse battery life.

      I had an 11" Acer Chromebook that had a battery life of like 14 hours that was perfect, and I put Linux Mint on it after support ended, but i think it has hardware damage now because I can't get it to boot without booting from just a thumbstick, and I can't reinstall Mint on it, I get errors
